Burgos Cathedral

High altar and massive altarpiece in the main chapel of the Burgos Cathedral in the city of Burgos (Spain), one of the major stops for pilgrims on the Camino. Built in 1221 in the gothic style, it is the third largest in Spain and the only stand alone cathedral recognized as a UNESCO Heritage site.
