Burgos Cathedral Chapel of the Constable

Ceiling and cupola of the Chapel of the Constable (with the elegant eight pointed star) in the Burgos Cathedral in the city of Burgos (Spain), one of the major stops for pilgrims on the Camino. Built in 1221 in the gothic style, it is the third largest in Spain and the only stand alone cathedral recognized as a UNESCO Heritage site. It is renown for the fine tracery of the many windows giving the overall light and airy feel. This chapel is a fine example.
